QING DYNASTY, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
The first of yellow jade, the flattened form in the shape of an archaic bronze bell, one side carved with stylised scrolls within a raised line border, repeated on the reverse, the top end with a pair of confronted archaistic dragons trailing their long curly tails along the narrow sides; the other white jade of similar bell-form, beneath an archaistic dragon with its long curly tail trailing along one narrow side, the other side with a smaller dragon in ascent
