DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)

With steep slightly flaring sides, finely penciled in underglaze blue and enameled in yellow, iron-red and green with five roundels containing either flowering or fruiting trees divided by pomegranate sprays above a band of overlapping leaf lappets around the base

A Daoguang bowl of this pattern from the Simon Kwan Collection was included in the Exhibition of Imperial of Late Qing, Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1983, illustrated in the Catalogue, no. 684.
