Gilt movement with fixed going barrels for the going and musical trains, 52 mm, cylinder escapement, gold three armed balance, flat balance spring, jeweled polished steel endplate, index regulator, 20 tuned vibrating steel teeth acting on both sides of the large pinned musical disc, repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant, gold Empire-style case, engine-turned polished bezel and back cover, milled band, bolt at 1 for locking the repeat, bolt at 6 for activating the music, hinged gilt brass cuvette, lever at 8 o'clock under the cuvette for music/silent mode, punched with the maker's mark in a lozenge, numbered 653 on the movement under the dial, case punched with the same number
