CASE: the arch cresting with brass flowerheads mount (later?) and elongated glazed side panels, flambeau urn finials (one replaced) DIAL: velvet-covered dial applied with gilt-brass chapter ring, engraved brass hands, a swagged cartouche below signed 'P. Regneault/Paris' MOVEMENT: four tapered and ringed pillars joining rectangular plates, single spring barrel for time/strike, reconverted verge escapement with cycloidal cheeks, calibrated countwheel strike on bell above, the back plate signed (later?) 'P REGNEAUT A PARIS'; pendulum
