The arched cavetto-moulded cornice with later spirally-fluted finials above a pair of doors with arched rectangular bevelled plates within reed moulded frames, enclosing a later interior of an adjustable shelf and a removable fitted box of five short drawers, above a bureau-section with writing-slope crossbanded in walnut with bookrest, enclosing a gilt-tooled green leather-lined writing-surface and a fitted interior of pigeon-holes and drawers above a well with sliding cover, with two simulated drawers below crossbanded in walnut between lopers and two short and two long conforming drawers, on later bun feet, restorations, the handles replaced, the banding later
