This collection of fine wines is strong in two things: the wines of de Vogüé, and claret in wood. All bottles were removed for this sale by Christie's specialists from custom built temperature and humidity controlled storage maintaining 52 degrees F. All of the younger wines were bought on release.

This famous estate owns 70 percent of the Grand Cru Musigny and nearly a fifth of Bonnes Mares.
