A creamware blue and white wine-pot and cover
possibly Yorkshire, globular, with a flattened domed cover, painted with oreintal huts among trees and rockwork, the reverse with a similar vignette, within diaper pattern bands reserved with panels of flowerheads -- 9½in. (24cm.) high, circa 1775-80 (crack to base of handle, chips to spout and cover, some cracks and staining)
