Provenance
The first: Oscar Bondy, Vienna, no. 353, according to paper label.
Confiscated from the above by the Nazis, following the Anschluss of Austria after March 1938; recovered by the Western Allies and restituted to the family in 1948.
The second: Anonymous sale, Christie's Amsterdam, 6 May 2003, lot 178.
