perhaps Swansea, printed and painted with an American eagle below the spout, above the inscription Peace Commerce and honest Friendship with all Nations Entangling Alliences with none JEFFERSON/Anno Domini 1804, one side printed with ship, the other with Masonic devices between columns and brancjes, below an iron-red rim -- 9in. (22.8cm.) high, early 19th century (minor chips to rim, small crack to handle terminus, slight wear)
