A Chelsea Derby part tea-service
sprirally fluted and leaf-moulded to the lower section, painted in colours with loose sprays of flowers within blue ground borders gilt with bands of leaves below debtil rims, comprising: a staright-sided milk-jug; a slop-basin; two teacups and saucers and two coffee-cups and saucers, circa 1775-80; and a pair of two-handled cups, covers and saucers, with pinecone finials, with gadrooned lower sections enriched in blue and gilt below blue bands gilt with meandering lines and seed ornament, the rim with bands of fruting vines suspending rings and swags of leaves, blue crown and D marks, late 18th century
