A Derby apple-green ground plate
painted with pattern 268 with a grey and a nut-brown rabbit on a holly landscape, in the distance two further rabbits, within a gilt roundel, the border reserved with a broad band gilt with scrolling foliage below a shaped rim, painted dark purple mark and pattern number -- 10½in. (26.7cm.) diam., circa 1795 (minor glaze crack to base, wear to enamels and gilt)
