Accompanied by a Jaeger-LeCoultre, Master Compressor leather presentation box and outer packaging.
Jaeger LeCoultre unveiled the Master Compressor Diving series in 2007, adding to the Master Compressor collection that had been released in 2002. The Master Compressor was named for its patented gasket-compression technology which is activated by a 180 degree turn of the crown ring. When activated, the Master Compressor Diving watch is as air-tight as a submarine hatch. The color blue is used on the dials in the Diving series because blue is the only color visible at depths of more than 30 meters. In addition, each model in the series includes a movement-operating indicator, an important feature that lets divers know the watch is working; on the GMT model, the indicator is the blue and white rectangle that moves each second but is much more visible than a thin second hand. The Master Compressor Diving GMT is unique in its blend of aesthetic shapes and lines and its sturdy, user-friendly construction.
