SIGNED CARTIER, MOVEMENT SIGNED EUROPEAN WATCH AND CLOCK CO, FRANCE, MOVEMENT NO. 11323, ALSO STAMPED NO. 2390, 4188 AND 1352, CIRCA 1925
Nickel-finished top plate lever movement, 13 jewels, bi-metallic compensation balance, silvered guilloché dial, central cream chapter ring with gilt Roman numerals and floret spacers, black enamel hands, arched sector with blue background with gilt phases of the moon, three subsidiary dials indicating day, date and alarm set, each with cream chapter ring centered with blue background and gilt astronomical motif, day and date indicated by a shooting star, alarm-set with sunburst design, rectangular case with nephrite panels, gold borders, the front dial side enhanced with black enamel checkered motif, the top nephrite panel with diamond-set lady's shoe, all on top a nephrite base with molded edges, diamond-set monogram EJ to the front, case stamped MC and hand numbered, with french import marks, movement signed and and numbered by maker, dial signed France
