Gilt-finished full plate chain and fusée movement, Arnold spring detent escapement, free-sprung bi-metallic balance with compensation weights, blued steel helical hairspring, diamond endstone, silver cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, plain case, dial and movement signed, case and cuvette stamped with maker's mark TH (Thomas Hardy) and London date letter K for 1825

Accompanied by a fitted wood box stamped VR & Co.

It is interesting to note that the movement of the present lot is an unusual lay out for an Arnold pocket chronometer using a flat mounted balance cock over a cut plate.
