Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with C.O.S.C. rating in 1999 and its subsequent sale on November 10 of the following year. Further accompanied by an undated Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, a Control Officiel Suisse des Chronometres dated 25 July, 2000, an undated Attestation, Patek Philippe commerative box, tie tag, leather envelope, commemorative coin and placcard with stand, product literature, suede pouche and outer packaging.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the limited edition reference 5100 for a year from 2000 until 2001. The model commemorated the new century. The present example of one of 300 known to be made in platinum.
