Lot Essay

Rolex introduced the reference 15000 in 1980 with a series of various models. The present watch would originally have been sold in all stainless steel with a polished bezel. With the current gold reeded bezel it is resembles the reference 15053 and may have been made as a special request given the UAE dial.
