A Meissen white and gilt assembled part dinner service
Late 19th early 20th Century, with underglaze blue crossed swords marks and various impressed numerals
All with gilt rims, handles and finials, comprising: a circular two-handled tureen and tapering cover surmounted by a dolphin finial, 28.3 cm. diam.; a pear-shaped coffee-pot and cover, 25 cm. high; a baluster coffee-pot and cover, the shoulder gilt with a floral scroll, reglued rim frit, 26 cm. high; a two-handled bowl and cover, frits, 10 cm. diam.; an oblong serving dish, wear to gilding, 41 cm. wide; a strainer and base, 30.5 cm. diam.; a bowl, 20 cm. diam.; nine plates, crack, wear to gilding, 23.5 cm. diam.; and a cover
Together with a shaped circular serving dish and a shaped oblong serving dish en suite, apparently unmarked (19)
