A French Niderviller assembled part dinner service
Late 18th Century, marked with interlaced C's, and N marks
Comprising an 'au barbeaux' part dinner service decorated in blue and green enamels with scattered cornflowers, within blue wavy rims, comprising: a sauce-boat and cover, 15.5 cm. wide; two circular serving dishes, 36.5 and 24.6 cm. diam.; two oblong serving dishes, 38 and 21.5 cm. wide; and a strainer, 31 cm. diam.; and a part dinner service painted with scattered flower-sprays in pink, purple, orange, green and yellow enamels, comprising: a serving dish, 42.5 cm. diam.; a deep serving dish, 43.2 cm. diam.; three oblong serving dishes, 33.5 cm. wide; a pair of saucers, 17.5 cm. diam.; and twenty-four dinner plates, one with base crack, 24.5 cm. diam.
