A Meissen (outside decorated) yellow-ground table-bell
painted in colours with two oval panels of figures, wearing 18th century dress, at leisure in gardens, within gilt foliage, the rim with a band of gilt scrolls, the handle enriched in gilt, waisted, with a knop finial, cancelled blue crossed swords mark -- 4½in. (11.4cm.) high, late 19th century (clapper lacking, firing faults and wear)
