Covered in red leather, First Dutch edition of Oldmixon's The British empire in America (London, 1708) and the only edition of this work to contain the appended essay on coffee and coffee plantations including three plates showing the coffee tree. It was published anonymously as was the case with the English original edition. This Dutch version was translated from the French and edited by Rudolf and Gerard Wetstein
