PROBABLY DIEPPE, EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Depicting an elegant lady playing the lute, the reverse still fitted with its rasp, and with a compartment for tobacco, the lid carved with a pair of doves
16.7 cm. long
Together with a Dieppe carved ivory tobacco rasp, early 18th Century, carved with the figure of Diana the huntress, the reverse lacking rasp - 18.2 cm. long (2)
