MARK OF ISAAC LINGENAAR, AMSTERDAM, 1764
The lid depicting Andromeda chained to a rock whilst Perseus attacks Cetus, marked to the base
8.5 cm. wide
Together with a Dutch silver snuff-box, third quarter 18th Century, the lid depicting a biblical scene, the reverse with table with gentry seated around it, maker's mark indistinct, Schoonhoven, 1794, marked on the rim - 7 cm. wide; and a silver inlaid gun metal snuff-box, depicting two men smoking at a table, 18th Century - 6.5 cm. wide (3)
