PROBABLY DUTCH, FIRST HALF 18TH CENTURY
The lid impressed with a galant scene with gentlemen sitting smoking under a pergola growing with grapes and a lady serving wine
13 cm. wide
Together with a silver and tortoiseshell tobacco box, probably Dutch, early 18th Century; of oval shape and with slightly domed lid and base, the silver finely engraved with flowers and foliage - 11.5 cm. wide; and a circular silver-mounted tobacco box, 18th Century, unmarked - 8.5 cm. diam. (3)
