painted to the centre with a cockrel above a rock and a hen surounded by chicks within a pierced trellis pattern border reserved with three mirror-shaped panels painted with birds among branches, enriched in gilt, cancelled blue crossed swords mark -- 9½in. (24.1cm.) diam., late 19th century (slight wear to gilt)
