each painted and gilt to the centre with a coat-of-arms, the sheild devided into a chevron and cross on a ground of stars below a coronet, above brightly coloured scrolls and beds of earth and grass issuing flowers, the ozier moulded border painted with scattered sprigs within shaped gilt-line rims, blue crossed swords marks -- 9½in. (24.1cm.0 diam., mid 18th century (2)
