The rectangular mottled pink marble top above a pounced and acanthus-carved frieze centred by a coat-of-arms and motto 'DUM VIVO VIREO', hung with pierced scrolling acanthus and oak-and-acorn swags, on hipped carved cabriole legs and paw feet, with imbricated S-scroll back legs and block feet, previously gilt
