Each cartouche-shaped back, padded armrests and serpentine seat covered in associated close-studded gros-point needlework, the outcurved arms with scallop-shell terminals and acanthus-carved supports, the rocaille and foliate-carved seat on cabriole legs and scroll feet, one with label to webbing inscribed 'Madame Herbette' and paper label inscribed 'V.3'
