CASE: on breakfront foliate-cast stepped plinth and surmounted by three doves and a nest above floral garland DIAL: painted globe with individual gilt Roman chapters, engraved brass serpent hands (minute lacking) MOVEMENT: twin barrels movement with anchor escapement and countwheel strike on bell, stamped to the reverse of plinth '27'
