The 110 mm. diameter silvered dial with subsidiary state-of-wind and seconds, signed 'Chas Wieland/Commercial Road/LONDON', blued steel hands, movement with main frame carrying the chain fusee, barrel and centre, sub frame carrying the remainder of the train, detent escapement and bimetallic balance with Eiffe's early middle temperature compensation, helical blued steel balance spring, sub plate inscribed 'Eiffe's Invention applied June 1846'; fixed winding key
