With unsigned polished single-edged blade of traditional form and construction (attributed to Uda), later hilt comprising copper tsuba decorated with gilt flowering foliage and dragonfly, matching fuchi kashira each with gilt bands, and cord-bound rayskin-covered grip with gilt menuki, in cherry bark pattern lacquered scabbard with kojin en suite with the hilt, with kodzuka decorated in low relief with herons
