engraving, 1504, on laid paper, watermark Bull's Head (M. 62), a very fine, dark Meder II c impression, printing with great clarity in the fine shading and with intense contrasts, fractionally trimmed into the subject on all sides, with considerable paper losses at the lower corners, very skilfully made-up with pen and ink, a smaller loss at the upper right corner, with a horizontal and vertical central crease, partially broken through and repaired, other defects
