The present and following four lots all appear to depict interiors from an unknown property in the historic St. Guen district in the town of Vannes, Brittany.
Vannes became one of the favourite residences of the of the Dukes of Brittany from the end of the 14th century onwards and became the county town of Morbihan in 1791.
