the drum-shaped case surmounted by a flambeau torch hung with a garland and crossed arrows, flanked by the figure of a maiden to one side and Cupid on a nimbus to the other, on breakfront plinth with trailing floral mounts and breakfront base with frieze of cavorting amorini to the fore, on toupie feet, the white enamel Arabic dial with pierced gilt-metal hands signed Leroy PARIS, the twin going barrel movement with strike on bell, with repeat signature to the backplate -- 16in.(41cm.) high
