A Victorian large ebonised chiming bracket clock
the case with moulded caddy top carved with fishscales and centred by a mask, with demon-headed terms flanking the foliate carved arched glazed door, sound frets to the sides, on inverted breakfront base, the gilt-brass dial incised overall with foliate scrolls, with silvered Roman chapter ring and subsidiary dials in the arch for Chime/Silent, Slow/Fast and 8 Bells/Westminster, the substantial triple fusee movement with anchor escapement, hour strike on gong and pin barrel chimes on four gongs and eight gongs -- 23½in.(57cm.) high
