Contemporary speckled calf, spine in 7 compartments with 6 raised bands, gilt-lettered in 2 compartments (rebacked, old spine laid down, corners worn, edges bumped, upper cover of Volume II detached). Provenance: Theod. H. Broadhead (armorial bookplate); J. L. and E. B. Ketterlinus (bookplate).
