The first with tapering blade signed 'Sahagom' on each side within the fuller, silver hilt with London silver hallmarks and symmetrical double-shell guard decorated in low relief with scrollwork and fluting, knuckle-guard and pommel with spiral fluting, and grip bound with silver wire, in original silver-mounted vellum-covered scabbard; the second similar, with earlier blade of flattened hexagonal section signed 'Tomas Aiaia' on each side within the fuller
