Shaped oval, with moulded rim and on four bracket feet, engraved with a lozenge-of-arms below a viscount's coronet, marked on the reverse

The arms are those of the Pearson impaling Cass for Annie, Dowager Countess Cowdray (d.1933), widow of Weetman Dickinson Pearson, 1st Viscount Cowdray (1856-1927).
