A SILVER CABINET ON STAND
19TH 20TH CENTURY
In the Flemish 17th century style, the oak and pine carcass applied overall with sheet silver, the inside of the door applied with a plaque with an engraved coat-of-arms, the upper section with an overhanging moulded cornice and grotesque masks flanking a drawer with drop ring handle, all above a cupboard with figure and foliate doors flanked by two demi-figure columns above a drawer, the stand with four foliage capped baluster legs on fluted bun feet

Provenance
Almost certainly acquired by Weetman Harold Miller Pearson, later 2nd Viscount Cowdray, (1882-1933) soon after he moved to Cowdray Park in April 1919.
