CASE: decorated to front and sides with bird and floral marquetry and musical trophies, with stepped hood, its sides with double sound frets above glazed panels, arched trunk door, on stepped plinth, with inventory number 'D907', elements 18th Century with later alterations, veneers and marquetry DIAL: 12 in. square brass dial with mask and foliate spandrels to a silvered chapter ring, matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring, plaque signed 'Nicholas/Lambert/London' and date aperture, with later strike/silent ring to the arch, 18th Century MOVEMENT: associated four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on bell, late 19th or 20th Century; pendulum, two lead weights, crank key
