Gandhara, 2nd/3rd Century
The Buddha seated in a niche at left, his hands resting in his lap and the sanghati draped over shoulders, his face with heavy-lidded eyes and the wavy locks of hair tied up over the ushnisha, with two figures at right, each within a niche with dentilated pattern and pendant fruit, the niches separated by ornate tapered columns with wide capitals below a patterned border
