A gilt bronze figure of Amitayus
Tibeto-Chinese, Qianlong mark and period (1736-95)
Seated in dhyanasana on a pedestal with foliate supports and centered with a lotus blossom, his hands resting in his lap, the robe draped over one shoulder and billowing over the edge of the base, adorned with various foliate jewelry, the face serene with downcast eyes surmounted by a tiara, the hair pulled into a high chignon
