Drugpa Kunleg was a Tibetan Buddhist teacher belonging to the tradition of Drugpa Kagyu. The inscription at his feet translates to "Homage to the feet of the glorious Kunga Legpa." At top center is Akshobya flanked by Rechungpa and Milarepa, with Vaishravana Riding a Lion at top left and Tseringma at top right. At bottom center is Mahakala "Gonpo Maning" flanked by Dorje Yudronma and Dong Ligpa. The back of the painting is marked with the three letters OM, AH, HUM, written in the Nepalese Ranjana script.
