Thailand, Prakon Chai style, 7th/8th century
Standing on a square base with both arms raised in the teaching gesture, wearing a close-fitting sanghati forming a ridged hemline, the face with full lips and large eyes flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair in tight curls over the ushnisha
