Depicting a central scene of nature on six panels with a Chinese pheasant, pair of deer resting together and birds in flight amongst trees and various flora, one panel decorated with a waterfall and crashing waves upon a rock with trees and flowers in bloom, the entire screen bordered with a white key fret design surrounded by detailed Chinese symbols including a bronze jue, ruyi, parrot, duck and bell, representing prosperity and harmony, the reverse undecorated
