A SET OF EIGHT SCOTTISH REGENCY BROWN OAK DINING-CHAIRS

Each with a curved tablet toprail above reeded uprights and a horsehair-covered padded seat above a roundel decorated seatrail on turned and reeded legs with brass caps and castors, numbered in ink '1,3,6,7,8,9,14' and '16', no 6 inscribed in pencil 'CHARLES K...., 1840', and 'MRS MURRAY EDINBURGH 1851', number 14 also inscribed 'L', the caps stamped 'COPE/COLLINSON/PATENT', some with batten carrying holes, losses, the castors added in the 19th century
