SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY
CASE: of rectangular form, green velvet-lined interior, with glazed front door and moulded foot, above replaced tapering wall bracket DIAL: white enamel, blued steel Breguet hands MOVEMENT: the hands driven by a steel rod extending into the base and terminating with a brass ratchet wheel acted upon by a steel lever interconnected to twin coils receiving impulse from an electrical assembly above the dial, with make/break system activated and de-activated by the action of the grid-iron pendulum; restorations and replacements; case key
