The spreading central pediment and flanking sides with fleur de pêcher marble tops above a sycamore panelled frieze inset with scrolling vine, birds and ram mounts, over bevelled glazed doors and sides, the mirror-backed interior with two glass shelves, on six stiff-leaf-mounted toupie feet, the lockplate stamped to the reverse 'CT. LINKE SERRURERIE PARIS', with original key stamped with the index number '149' to the flag

Provenance
By repute Peter I, King of Serbia, (1844-1921) or his son Alexander I (1888-1934), King of Yugoslavia, for the Stari Dvor, or Old Palace, Belgrade.
The Embassy of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Athens, Greece until second half 20th century.

Compare a meuble à hauteur d'appui, index number 448, with panelled as opposed to glazed doors, illustrated in a black and white photograph of Linke's 26, place Vendôme showrooms (see C.
