The inverted bell-shaped body supported on three caparisoned elephant-head feet, and flanked by a pair of elephant-head handles, the sides cast in relief with lotus scroll beneath a fret border, the pierced cover cast with lotus blossoms and tightly-scrolled foliage, surmounted by a recumbent caparisoned elephant supporting a container filled with rhinoceros horns, pearls, coins and ingots, embellished with glass inlay, the base cast with apocryphal Xuande mark
