Cast in the form of a fangding with bulging sides, supported on four cabriole legs surmounted by elephant masks, each of the longer sides of the body with a pair of buddhistic lions playing with a ribbon-tied brocade ball, the ends fitted with dragon handles, the openwork cover surmounted by a recumbent deer resting on a bed of clouds holding a peach spray in its mouth, the underside of the base with an apocryphal Xuande mark
