The top rail supported on corner posts flanking the elegantly curved splat, the arm rails supported on S-shaped struts and terminating in the curved front posts, all above the soft mat seat set within the rectangular frame, and stepped stretchers supporting short, vertical struts, the whole raised on legs of rounded-square section joined by stepped stretchers and the footrest with a plain, shaped apron
